Maternity Portrait Prices 2010

My standard fee for outdoor or natural light shoots is $150.00 with a $100.00 print credit included. I do have portable studio equipment and can bring this to your home as well. This means we can take pictures at your home, your favorite park, or in other areas you would think would create beautiful photographs. The session fee covers my time and talent and also includes the $100.00 print credit. A $50.00 retainer is required to reserve the date and is non-refundable; this will be applied to the base charge. The remaining balance is due before the session begins. Prints and packages can be purchased in addition to your print credit.

Approximately four to six weeks after your session I will present you with 20-25 4 X 6 watermarked proofs to choose prints from.

I consider each portrait session a chance to create a work of art for you. All photos taken are reviewed and only the best are presented to you. I work many hours after the shoot to ensure that your portraits are the best quality they can be. Each of these photos receive individual attention to minor blemishes. All photos are edited and color corrected if needed, so that what you see is what you get. Proofs may be printed in any combination of color, B&W or other artistic means.

Whether it's your first pregnancy or your fourth, celebrate!

Children, husbands, partners and pets are optional. I like them all.

Plan your shoot between 6 and 10 weeks before your due date. If you're closer, call and I'll fit you in. Bring props, bring clothing or bring nothing, but plan on walking away feeling like a million bucks.

The era of digital photography has allowed major advances in retouching capabilities, so please do not be concerned about stretch marks or any other pregnancy-related "beauty marks" that may have appeared. I will work within your own personal comfort zone. Remember, this is YOUR shoot, and YOU are in control.

Keep in mind that this is the only chance you will have to document this pregnancy. I have heard many new moms say that they regret not doing a maternity portrait. These portraits will certainly be treasures to share with your child as he or she grows older.

I offer on location shoots at your home or at your favorite place outside.
